Staff

Our Camp Limmud staff is composed of adults college-age or older who have experience planning and implementing children’s educational and/or leadership programs in a variety of communities (i.e. former camp counselors, Jewish Educators, religious school teachers, day care providers, etc.).

Assistant counselors will include high school students (11th and 12th graders) who are interested in helping support Camp Limmud programming.

Camp Limmud staff positions are PAID positions. If you are interested in working at Camp Limmud during the conference contact Terri Swartz Russell, LB co-chair, at terrisrussell@yahoo.com or 617-448-3996.

Special Needs

LimmudBoston is partnering with Greater Boston Yachad/The National Jewish Council for Disabilities in order to extend an invitation to families with children who have special needs to attend our conference. Special needs students will be accompanied by 1:1 teen volunteers from the Yachad clubs at Maimonides, Gann Academy and The Binah School.

If your child has special needs please contact Liz Offen, Director, Greater Boston & New England Yachad. Liz may be reached at bostonyachad@ou.org or 617-285-0007.

Parents and Children Together

A selection of sessions are geared specifically for Parents and Children to participate in together throughout the conference day. Parents will receive a copy of the full Camp Limmud program and may join their child/ren in the Camp Limmud area for these special sessions if they wish.
